2015 Karts – The Best Ever

Daytona Motorsport launched a brand new fleet of 50 TW Steel Dmax Karts on Sunday for the TW Steel DMax Championship. The karts feature Birel Race Chassis with the brand new Rotax Max Evo Engines and the drivers on Sunday raved about the new karts.

The Heavy Endurance Race Winner Andrew Haine was particularly impressed with the karts: “The new karts are immense – they feel like they did when I started DMAX back in 2011. But these are even quicker. I was having such fun as the line dried and the kart just wanted to go quicker and quicker. Taking T1, T2 and T3 yesterday was the most fun I’ve ever had in a kart. Madness.”

Daytona′s investment of £250,000 in a brand new fleet of Dmax Karts proves the group′s commitment to the TW STeel Dmax CHampionship and to providing customers with the best driving experience in the UK. RIchard Brunning, Group Technical Director has spent nearly a year testing and specifying the karts and engines to ensure that they provide the fastest and most evenly matched fleet of race karts in the UK.

“We’ve taken the massively improved Rotax Max Engine but we have developed our own engine management unit, exhaust manifold and wiring loom to ensure reliability combined with amazing acceleration.

The new Dmax karts are now available for drivers to test at both Daytona Sandown Park and Daytona Milton Keynes.
