SUPER CLOSE RACING FOR 112 DRIVERS AT R8

112 Drivers made the journey down to Dorset for Round 8 of the Daytona DMAX 2018 Championships – and Clay Pigeon Raceway saw the closest racing of the year! The 900 metre circuit’s mix of long corners and medium length straights are perfectly suited to the DMAX’s ROTAX 125cc engines and Birel race chassis and all six championships saw amazingly close qualifying throughout the girds – with the top four lights endurance drivers split by just 77 thousandths in qualifying!

Race reports, highlights videos and a gallery of images will all be uploaded over the coming days, but you can already see all of the race results and lap times etc here and the updated champs standings on the Speedhive website.

Daytona would like to congratulate the winners and podium finishers who all had to race hard to make it to the top in one of the closest fought days we have ever seen in Daytona DMAX.

The next round is at Daytona Milton Keynes over the weekend 20/21 October – call Mark now on 033 033 27870 to book your place on the grid.
